Setup & Usage Instructions

1. Inserting & Securing Your Node

The holster utilizes a form-fitting friction lock supplemented by an elastic pull-tab for secondary retention.

• Insertion: Align your Pocket-Ranger or Pocket-Scout with the top opening of the holster, ensuring the antenna faces upward. Slide the device downward firmly until it clicks or seats securely into the base.
• Charging in Holster: The precise bottom cutout allows you to plug in your USB-C cable to charge or flash the device without removing it from the holster.

2. Mounting to Gear

• Belt Mounting: Slide the rugged rear clip completely over your belt until the bottom hook catches.
• MOLLE / Pack Strap Mounting: Weave the clip through standard MOLLE webbing loops or secure it tightly over a backpack shoulder strap. Tip: For the best line-of-sight LoRa propagation, mount the holster high on your shoulder strap.
